Services

Kindcarestudio provides tailoring and clothing repair services as described on our website. Our services include but are not limited to hemming, alterations, zipper replacement, bespoke tailoring, fabric restoration, restyling, and emergency repairs.

All services are performed by skilled professionals with expertise in garment construction and repair. We reserve the right to refuse service if a garment is in a condition that we determine cannot be safely or effectively altered or repaired.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice. Pricing for custom work will be discussed during consultation and confirmed before work begins. Prices may vary based on the complexity of the work, fabric type, and time required to complete the project.

We provide transparent pricing and will inform you of any additional charges before proceeding with work that goes beyond the initial estimate.

Payment

Payment is required upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. For large projects, a deposit may be required at the start of work, with the balance due upon completion.

Payment plans may be available for extensive projects and will be discussed and agreed upon in writing before work commences.

Alterations & Repairs

While we strive for perfection, some garments may have limitations based on their original construction, fabric condition, or design constraints. We will discuss any limitations with you before beginning work and will not proceed if the desired outcome cannot be achieved satisfactorily.

We recommend trying on garments during fitting appointments to ensure proper fit and satisfaction. Multiple fittings may be necessary for complex alterations or bespoke work.

Liability

Kindcarestudio is not responsible for damage to garments that occurs due to pre-existing conditions, fabric deterioration, or structural weaknesses that were not apparent during initial inspection. We maintain insurance for work performed but cannot guarantee against damage to items with pre-existing issues.

Please inspect your garments carefully when picking them up. Any concerns must be reported within 7 days of receiving your completed work.

Storage and Pickup

Completed garments must be picked up within 30 days of notification of completion. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you when your items are ready. Items left beyond 30 days may be subject to storage fees.

Unclaimed items held for more than 90 days may be disposed of at our discretion, though we will make every effort to contact you before taking such action. We are not responsible for loss or damage to items left beyond the storage period.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel services before work begins without penalty. If work has already commenced, you may be responsible for payment of work completed to that point. Cancellation requests should be made in writing or via email.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service at any time, particularly if we determine that the work cannot be performed safely or to our quality standards. In such cases, you will only be charged for work already completed.

Intellectual Property

All original patterns and designs created by Kindcarestudio remain our intellectual property. We grant you a license to use these patterns solely in connection with the garments we create for you.

You retain ownership of your garments, but any custom patterns or technical designs we develop remain our property and cannot be reproduced without our written consent.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

While we exercise reasonable care, we are not responsible for the condition of garments prior to our work or for damage that occurs after work is completed and the garment is in your possession.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage direct communication to resolve any concerns or disputes. Please contact us promptly if you have any issues with our services so we can work together to find a satisfactory resolution.

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Canada. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and amicably whenever possible.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the modified terms.

It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. If you do not agree with any changes, please discontinue use of our services and contact us regarding any ongoing projects.
